Been experimenting with some rich blues on the black shoulder pads to get a shine. The blue gives the black real depth.

Really nice green indeed!!!

The blue on the shoulders pad works great but I think it works better on the right shoulder (the one with the gun...). Don't know if it happens because on the left one the position of the light spot should be moved or because the light spot has "less blue" on the color transition (I think I can see this on the pic).

That little issue aside (and we've all been there I'm sure) the marine is looking brilliant. The green is beautifully painted and as you are adding in the over elements it all just comes together beautifully!

Ten if that blue is covered by the backpack it is almost but not really as bad as some other peoples mold lines

Stupid backpack interfering with ten's great painting. *shakes fist* I think modifying the backpack would be the way to go. I have also made a note of this potential problem for when I'm brave enough to leave my minis partially assembled for painting.
