Pictish Mini Painting

I'm actually a man!
Oh there's nothing worse, Only had it once but its soul destroying. At least you have time to repair one to a standard you are happy with.

Resin, she be a harsh mistress.

Oh God. Just try to go easy on them. It's hard to paint with the shakes o_O Mind you these guys hung out with Fernando and hosted him here in Toronto and having taken the weekend course i can only imagine what full week was like. I;m sure they'll be fine...maybe.

Any news after the first day? Did Zab's friends have fun? Did AndyG's croc's look epic? Did 10Ball turn up before the day was over?

Conversation tonight...

I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
Why's that?
I'm going to that miniatures thing.
But what about the shelves, the swimming with Nathan you had agreed to and the shed.
Bugger.

So i'm not going this year. Sadville population me.

Fantastic time great to meet up with everyone there. The standard was even higher than last year if that is possible. One thing was clear was that the number and quality of fantasy/scifi was up yet again. Good judging as well. Just a couple of my favourites here Dragonsreach has far more photos.

Woo hoo, great day(s), nice to meet my friend's again. Well done everyone, extremely high standard minis with an increase of commendations but very few golds (which keeps the standard high imo).

I got a bronze for the orc v dwarf dual which I was VERY happy with and agree with also. Also got three commendations. Andy got loads of medals (looks like a Russian General). Well done mucka.

Usual stuff also - crocs were there, Sat nav went wrong again, too much coffee drank , a few people moaning at the judges, broke minis (Andy's - not my fault Stephan)
A certain cheerleader photo was shown again which I will post if people don't know what I'm on about he he ;)

Mike has loads of photos.

Showing off time. The front of my case now with all the medals attached (blows air on his finger nails and buffs them nonchalantly)6 commended a highly commended and a bronze to ad to my collection ;)
