In light of the fact that it the premiere of this epic looking film is almst here, I felt that this forum was in critical need of some Star Wars infusion.

I caught the trialer before Spectre last friday, and was ugly crying all the time.

I get so many feels, when ever I see footage from The Force Awakens. Feels I only get whenever i watch the original trilogy. I ma looking forward to the premiere alot.

I allready have my tickets ready... For 3 showings of it :D

no tickets, I'll probably won't watch it until 2-3 weeks after premier, so not a super SW fan, but I will see it in cinema, so that's a plus.
From trailers so far it looks better than the prequel-triology.

I can't wait for it either, sadly my gf doesn't share my enthusiasm for it so I might be going alone, but I don't care lol its worth the embarrassment of going solo to the cinema

Damn right but hey a documentary on new types of toilet seats would be better than the prequel trilogy!

Why are you of the false impression that it is embarrasing to go to the cinema alone?

It's no big deal, I've done it loads of times and sometimes adds to the enjoyment as you're not under any stress about the person you're with enjoying or not enjoying the movie.

Parenting done right!

Though it seems Amazon dropped a clanger and has spolied Finn's last name.

I havent seen it, but you just now the killjoys will be desperate to splatter it onto facebook or something hard to avoid for the next 5 weeks :(

I am not reading anything about it anywhere. I want to keep the suspense.

Turns out that the information has been proven to be fake :)

Though i heard that the guy who had lung cancer who got to see the film last week has died today.

I feel This movie will be not be given enough credit. It is a modern Star Wars by a different director in a different time than the original, a movie that redefined movies (first epic scifi when movies were events, not modern place cash cows). Episodes 1-3 will be compared all too often, as will star trek reboots. It can't be it's own thing.
In addition, as much as I love Disney, Marvel, and SW, it is the start of the formulaic progression of the SW world in the same vain as Marvel.

I want to see it, badly, but I am scared to go the first few weeks...partly because I still shutter at memories of seeing the Damon Wayans DnD movie on opening night in a college town, but also I'm worried that the hype will have been too much for too long. I.am very excited to see Kylo Ren though, as he seems to take more.than a few cues from European knights rather than ninjas or acrobats.

The clips alone have done enough to ensure I won't see Disney Wars. The 3 original films were a massive influence on my childhood, the later 3 films did damage to the franchise that Disney will now destroy. Sorrry, no interest in Mickey Skywalker .

Destroy how? So far the Force Awakens looks to be very close in look and feel to the original trilogy...
