Welcome back. Nice work, looking closely at your blending I like the 'feathered' look, I should adopt that as opposed to straight linear blends that subtract from realism. Cant wait to see this gem finished.

cheers folks, been struggling with some parts but i think i come close to an end now. well, the cape is left going to be some freehand on that one.
but first i go for the base, bit more relaxing. i am only going to use the small display base, not have the energy for the big one *lazzzy!*

im still not 100% of the now red winged bat though, mmm i think it take over too much. Not sure what to do with it really it really buggin' me to death! sort of

small changes i know but now im starting to feel happy with it all. shaded the red bat on front plate with a bit of blue and painted some lightnings. Onwards the base!

Yup, now that I see it, that "bright" red distracted from the face... now is a lot better. Very good decision!
