Great tip, Maenas, but not what I want here. However, that would look fantastic if I ever get around to painting my Hadross, so I'll keep it in mind!

Finished prep on the commission today, ready to start airbrushing tomorrow! Damn finecast or whatever that GW resin is, it had 'some' warping and took me forever to fix.

Now to work on my girls' sisters! I postponed finishing the first batch, I want to do pigments and grass on all of them at the same time to get it consistent.

Commission is ready to paint. Took me little over ten hours to prep i all, and less than an hour to prime. If I remember correctly, my hour budget is 44,5 hours.

You've got this. The commission will grab more of your attention once you get some colours on them.

Thanks folk, I'm thrilled that you like the colors! They are done now, and are waiting along with the rest for grass on the bases.

And now, to finish off the Satyxis boat, the Pirate Queen herself, Skarre. Pretty happy with how she's turning out, except for the blade. There's just something blocking me there, if I try something more than the simplest thing on a sword, it is amateur hour, every time. Not even reference photos help. Tips would be appreciated!

Okay, time for a picture of the commission in progress. Lost the note where I kept my hours (doh) but this should be 14-15 hours of painting. Yeah, even with airbrush and going fast and sloppy, it takes time to paint this many minis.

Also, started another personal project last night, meet Snappy das kleine Krokodil. Or Snapjaw, maneater crocodile. I'll be trying shaded basecoat on him alongside his more intelligent friend, Wrong-eye, which I basecoated a while back.

Thanks BAM - tell you what, when I finally get around to it, I can do one of the guys I am painting for Tero for you as well. These girls are Satyxis from Warmachine, but I can see why you think they are Goritsi - I haven't noticed the similarity before now, but they have a lot in common. Now I look forward to painting my Goritsi...

Yesterday I foolishly put all other projects aside and quickly painted up an unit for gaming. Game was a 7 PM, so I needed them at gaming standard before that:

They were done, blown to pieces and I lost ("Gotta blow them up now, he has me out-painted"). I'll pull them up to my regular quality later, the objective was to get them at a playable level, which I managed. They still need all of their highlights.
