In the meantime....
A quick project before I jump into the WOK wolves I wanted to do for NOVA this year and I'm trying to get done for auction at CMON expo in May!
We had a fun little one hour speed paint of a 28mm Victoria mini. A Zuave? Historical and tiny as fuck. I forgot my light and was rushing like mad but here is the result after 1 hour of complete panic as i realized adding retarder was dumb

BAh! it was fun and i won a nice celitc or scotish warrior bust!
So now to cleanse my palette and reset before another big project I stripped him and built a little base and will redo him in the same limited palette that we used for the speed paint challenge, but take my time and do him the justice he deserves

looks good. I saw a post of all the folks at swofc who did the speed challenge. I was tied up last week but am hoping to make it to next months meeting.

So are you doing the secret santa thing with us? I have the perfect gift from Mr Lee's minis!!! The speed paint was hilarious as we all panicked in our own ways.

Zane if I may that lil hist model is he plastic and if so what was used to strip thy paint.?

Yep he's plastic, He's from Victoria minis I think. I used The Canadian Military's fav cleaning product: Simple Green! I diluted it with a little warm water and soaked him for about 3min and then scrubbed it off. Pro tip: If you want it really clean i would run him through the ultra sonic cleaner with the simple green
If you want a really fast stripping job just spray the mini with foaming oven cleaner and let it sit for 5 min then scrub. But don't leave it because it can discolor and soften plastic after a while.

It's really cool that you collage these pictures up into a kind of visual SBS. The palette pictures are particularly helpful.

I forgot to mention, this guy sent me a Dremel and, like, every attachment, in a really nice wooden box. For free. Well, the first time he sent it, I paid for, but when it was returned because I had given him the wrong information, he insisted that he ship it to me a second time without accepting my yankee dollars. Hell of a guy, that Zab.
