Weird forum bug: Space bar dies when quoting.

Is it just me?

When I use google Chrome here on the forums and QUOTE someone, my spacebar no longer works.

Soeverythingjustrunstogetherlikethis...

If I remove the quote, it works just fine.

Works fine if I use Internet Explorer too.

Yeah lots of problems for me IE just crashes the forum but safari no problems?! I'd have a word with a MOD myself

Same, space not working with Chrome if I put a quote. Had to cut the quote, cancel the post, then hit reply again, type out my entire reply, paste in the quote and then post it.

I've noticed the same thing. Another fix is to quote the text you want and then click the 'go advanced' button next to 'post quick reply' and 'cancel'. In the 'go advanced' page, the space bar will work again without the need to remove the quote.

That's a pretty good work-around.

My current technique is just to make a post without the quote, leaving everyone in the dark about what the hell I'm talking about.

Firefox fine.
Suspect browser Chrome is the issue but I don't like it so don't use it.
