Thanks all :)
All finished and ready for Euro Mil tomorrow. Really enjoyed painting this mini, and its helped me alot over the last month as ive been struck down with anxiety and worry (over no real reason!) Had it before but never like this but im not sitting on it and went to the doctors for help so hopefully with get it sorted and me back on track.

A very nice piece. I've had the formless anxiety thing myself a few times. Exercise and meditation have worked for me with the painting :)

Cheers all. Had a great time at Euro mini expo, top competition, fantastic meeting my friends as usual.
Congrats to all winners. Well done Andy on a bronze.
I got a bronze and a spot prize for £100 for my turtle off
Dark star miniatures which I got their fantastic range of metallic paints which i highly recommend.

look like a top event :) i alittle bit torn about the BOS but hard to judge images.

nice to see Conrads cyclops painted and winning, i remember i was talking about concept, base and stuff with him before AoS golden demon last year.

Mike Blank did that piece and its very subtle in colouring, ranging from white through to sand scuffed ivory and dark armour.
What really 'pulls the whole thing together' is that it is story telling, all the pieces are characters in their own right and all facing imminent demise yet still together.

It was worth the votes, but mine would have gone to Michael Kontraros's Wizard of Oz grouping, ties with a disturbing yet haunting money clown sat right beside it.
