one tip on the leopard pattern.

I painted a similar pattern on a Conf figure the following easy way:
- put an undiluted blob of Agrax Earthshade (or similar product from other manufacturer) on the cloth. Actually it's better to pattern the whole, as it reduces the time in step 2
- wait a bit until the edge of the blob dries a bit forming a circle (that we usually try to avoid when using washes / diluted colors), but not long enough to let it dry the whole way
- with a brush touch the middle, so it sucks up the excess paint, leaving you with a shape, with strong dark edge, and a somewhat lighter middle.

That's a great suggestion. Zooming in on my pic, I think I might have already achieved the technique a little by accident on her torso :struggle:

Voted as well! It is nice to see final shots of your Mansions investigators. Are you enjoying the game?

Picked myself up an airbrush and compressor set. So far I've just used it to paint up terrain, but it's been great fun to play around with. Interestingly, the other half suddenly has taken a lot more interest in what I'm up to and seems to think its more fun than with a paintbrush.

Also been busy painting; decent progress on both my Skaven Bloodbowl team and my Esher Necromunda gang. Did I mention I like specialist games....

You've been very busy my friend! I'm envious that your significant other has taken an interest too. Mine isn't too bothered with my painting haha. It is great to see that the painting addiction has really set in for you. Personally, I love to paint and look forward to it pretty much every day after work.

I have one suggestion for you on your pictures. If you have a photo editing software, turn the resolution down a bit more so the images aren't quite so zoomed in/high res. If an image is really high res, it will show every mistake you made and probably some you didn't! I think this will help us better assess your painting progress and offer feedback as well. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more specialist games progress!

When I say interest, I mean that she found it fun to 'point and paint' for about 2 minutes, and then got bored. I'm not expecting a convert, just more interaction than before.

Thanks for the heads up about image size. I tend to post and interact via my phone, which automatically resizes images when displaying them so I don't know how bit they are. Ive had a quick look on a my laptop. Quite a surprise. Certainly didn't realise I was posting such large images, particularly compared to others
