After a long time away I have finally decided to start sharing my dragon minis with the community. Ill be doing regular work and uploading it

I decided to attempt a patreon but I need feedback from the source. The guys that love miniatures.

Its going to be 100% dragons all the way. If you check out my description, youll see everything I have planned. I have 6 dragons currently done and am working on what type of spacing I will do with delivery. Youll see constant updates from as well.

Im hoping to get your opinions on my page. Right now, its pretty bare-bones, nothing more than descriptions and examples, no teirs or first asset delivery. Im still fleshing out the details on how everything is going to work, in terms of what I can create. Thanks in advance! https://www.patreon.com/minimonstermayhem

Hopefully this post is acceptable

Here is my past thread on the forums.

Also, here is a link to all the minis I ahve worked on over the last coupe years. hope you guys like them!

test prints of the first release are done! Ill be adding two more poses, making three for the first day my patreon tiers drop. I want people to be confident in my ability to do the basics. So Im only asking for $1 for the first dragon and its three poses. Just to give me a chance to win you over!

Welcome to the forum! That is a nice sculpt...

Curious as to your production method: are you going to 3d-print every order, or do you plan on making molds from the masters and casting production runs?

My goal is to use my printer to show its print-ability of each character. Ill be having STL files uploaded for people to print on their own.

Thanks Gorb

These are really detailed and dynamic poses! I don't think I have any suggestions for you haha.

The dragons are a good size, have well-defined muscles (your dragons are going to motivate me to visit the gym more lol), detailed horns, and some sweet looking spines and wings. Honestly every other physical feature that I can see has that same high level of detail. Definitely keep me posted regarding when these go up for sale.

From someone who's wanting to try his hand at some 3D modelling, did you pick up your modelling skills via tutorials?

Thanks Rows!

I will typically visit zbrushes youtube channel when they have updates. Ive been doing it since 2005-2006 so most of what I know was just learning on my own. Pixologic Zbrush has a youtube channel that gives you really good pointers on how to use tools and the basics of the software. I use it regularly to remind me of tools...there are so many, I forget quite often. That and just a normal google search "sculpting basics in zbrush" gives you some really good links. I know phrasing in a search engine is really important so finding them can be a pain in the butt.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Im always happy to help...IF I CAN!

As for my minis though, I do have a patreon and facebook page that I update regularly.

Another 2 weeks, another group of dragon minis test printed. The dragon on the ground has a 250mm wing span and 150mm tall. The one on the rock formation is scaled down 70% so I could print it much faster, still about 150mm tall. Theres still some clean up that needs to be done, from the printer supports. If anyone has a suggestion on the best way to smooth those out, Im all ears.
The dragons I create are typically meant to be printed at huge, gargantuan, or colossal size. If you try to go smaller, you would most likely run into thickness issues with the printer.
Hope you guys like them. Youll be seeing posts from me every week!

Man I love your dragons!
Especially the two last, so dynamic and vivid.
I would love to see some in closer look (like in my hand ;)).
Unfortunatelly I donw own a 3D printer. Do you plan to sell physical copies of them at some point in the future (maybe a KS campaign)?

Some time in January I will attempt to get a store front for those who dont want to do Patreon. That goes for physical copies as well, Ill be coming up with something for that as well. Thanks Dexter! Ill keep this thread updated, when that happens.
