Aeron Damphair and Charge

We know that Redcloaks consider a charge a single action for their ability; is this true for Aeron Damphair's Influence ability too?

The charge action as a whole was errataed to one action in the last FAQ.

Rulebook Errata: Pg 16, Perform Attack: The Attacker will then resolve 1 Melee Attack (this is not a separate Action).
