My first time painting anything bigger than a single figure. I really need to start messing around with basing, just worries I’ll ruin my work...

As with the Lannister’s, I don’t play Free Folk. I do, however, like to pick up the uniques from the other factions to paint, as the books have always been my favorites. All that being said, I do play Night’s Watch...so getting Craster was a must.

I really like how the Reeds turned out. Thinking I’ll have to go back and lighten Arya up a bit at some point...

So... I finished painting these guys RIGHT before it was announced they can now take Vows. This moved their “timeline” from not “officially” Night’s Watch, to having actually taken the black... The intent here was to add some variety to the mostly black faction. Some were painted in common...

I absolutely love the Warden sculpt with this set. I opted to go with the less uniform color choices, to emphasize them being a less military style unit.

I don’t play Lannister, but I do like to grab the uniques, as I am a HUGE fan of the books. I debated a lot on color choices here, especially Joff. In the end I stuck with typical Lannister colors for him. The Kingsguard I chose to blend in some elements from the show with the gold...
