Well I tend to layer my paint, I don't do any sort of wet blending. I guess I'm a little confused because I do water down my paints heavily while painting and I tend to then paint on layers as thin as I can. Maybe I need more practice, could you point to the areas where you see this issue? I'm pretty sure the bands of color are a little thicker than I wanted because it was just that, layering. I suppose if I thinned down my paints and spent more time doing glazes I might get a better effect...
