    Polymer clay sculpts

I've recently been getting into polymer clay sculpting as I was finding green putty a bit slow going which was restricting my learning. Sculpted a zombie head on Tuesday (about 4cm long...): Started work on a Tyrant (from Resident Evil) tonight: (about 2cm long): Apologies for the...

    Silent Hill Nurse WIP

Here's a WIP pic' of a Nurse from the Silent Hill video games: I'm using this as a concept model to explore the potential pit falls in sculpting the character. When I sculpt the next one I'll have a better idea of the proportions and construction as I'm not 100% happy with this one...

Let's raise a glass to CMON...

May I salute every single contributor to CMON for making this the friendliest forum on the web. This is one of the few message boards I've encountered which isn't full of bitching, backstabbing and petty one-man-upmanship (well, bar the odd bit of tactical low voting!). May we all live happily...

    Plague Marine WIPs

Further to my Blight Drone WIP thread, I thought I ought to start one for my many Plague Marines. Shamefully, seven of these (#2-8) were started in the summer of 2005 (gasp) and due to \'sculptors block\' (i.e. laziness, poor planning and \'other commitments\'...) they are still incomplete...

    Blight Drone WIP

Having seen GW Forge Worlds cool Blight Drone model, I was inspired to have a go at sculpting my own. The idea was to make one in the space of a week, taking photos along the way to post as a WIP thread on this fine website. As tends to happen with my intended speed sculpting exercises, my...

    Zombie, or guitarist?!

I need some help here! I started an armature for a zombie mini I had in mind. No matter how I positioned it, it just didn\'t look very zombie-like in its pose.
