I have a question about contrast and degrees of contrast. I have been getting comments about contrast on my work. I always concentrate on smoothness when I paint. Should contrast be my top priority over smoothness?

This is turning out to be my best mini to date. I am probably going to freehand flies and other nasty things all over the backs of the wings and have the inside like flesh with veins and what not. I am also going to have veins all over the face, belly and armor. Tell me what you think.

I am going to try and convert a great unclean one for a 40K nurgle army but I am having trouble finding parts that will take up most of the 60mm base. I was thinking about using some ogre parts but I still need suggestions.

would it be possible to hook up a webcam and microphone and find a place to host the webcam to give painting lessons to others who are too far away?
