Stripping Paint off plastics

Golden Daemon Fraud
In the latest White Dwarf GW mentioned that someone fraudulently entered a figure they did not paint,could someone shed more light on this.What entry,who was the culprit,etc.? Yeah,I am just being nosy. Thanks- pitynoman
