    Suggestions needed!!

    I\'m painting a samurai and would like his swords edge to stand out. My question is: Is there any way to brighten metallic colours?I\'m using Mithril silver and this is the lightest metallic i can find. I\'ve tried some white but that merely looks chalky. Any suggestions anyone? Thank you...
