just got a can of grey for a piece I have just started working on. Gave it a test run on some bits today and I dont like it. It would not stick to any brass etch, just pools up and drips off. I also found it to be very runny and seems like it could kill detail on a model. I am not sure if I want...

I just got some Humbrol matt varnish spray today, gave it a test run and it coated the piece in a white powder look. I tried it again a few more times and it seems to be working fine now. Does anybody know why this happens and will it happen again?

Just got some Tamiya acrylic paint thinner today, any tips for using it and is it o.k. to use with GW and Vallejo paints? cheers.

I love their paints, just want to know if the varnishes are just as good or better than the GW ones.

Does anybody know a good paint mixture for the Crimson Fist blue armour? I use GW and Vallejo Model colour. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

After applying the pigments to a model, is it o.k. to use a spray varnish? I use Testors dullcoat on my models.
