I definitely think it\'s worth being proud of and something to rejoice that you\'ve been together for a year, and then another and then another...
People often talk longingly about the initial period of a relationship when you are newly in love and everything is overwhelming. But, that is really the easiest part of the relationship to re-live. If you should happen to be single again all you have to do is find someone new (not necessarily the easiest thing, I know...) and then you will have that period again! If you want to re-live the part of your relationship when you have been together for 5 years (which is also great, but in a completely different way) you not only need to find someone new, but also stay together for 5 years, and that is MUCH much harder.
So, congrats and I hope you will have the opportunity to celebrate again next year, and the year after that, and after that... and so on.
