Love this mini, dont think I did him justice I had trouble with the base, in the end I had him walking down a hill chopping thorns with his big chopper
Painted him in a mini comp with AndyG in was nice to bounce ideas off each other

Amazing foliage - where did you get that?

I like the mini's sword a lot, but I think the highlights need to be taken further to draw your eye to the mini.

This is especially true with the face.

The foliage is too good, like really, the mini looks out of place in such a nice frame.

Great job on a classic model and some serious lovin' given to the base as well, but I do think that the two elements need to gel a little better. It's that classic problem of needing to paint the foliage I think. I still quite like it, but I can see room for improvement. If I'm being really picky, perhaps the transitions and linings on the model could be a little sharper and more refined too. Good work though!

Another (along side Andy's) lovely looking mini. I like the rusty look to him and it's really nice to get the oranges in there. It's almost looking like sennm in places - which would have looked cool too! The left side does look a little better in contrast than the other mind you - although looking again it could well be the photos doing this rather than the paint job. A nice blue base would really have made this stand out having said that I like what you have done though
