Nearly finished, got gun to do and some more weathering on the back. Started the big boss of the squad, added cannon and a nurgle head.

As im fed up of painting green I started on the boss skin. I went with dark shading around the mouth for a more dramatic effect. I thought I would leave the black eyes (creepy), what do you think?

the arm is in a slightly weird angle. now this is nurgle, that doesnt have to be a bad thing he would probably profit from a slightly sickly skin, perhaps some purple, green or yellow shading at places?=) that is a wicked conversion, by the way.

I'm with Ischa on that. Maybe if you don't want to paint so much green on it, maybe just drooling coming out in between the teeth and spieling on the torso? I like the black eyes, by he way.

Also liek the eyes, instead of green you could add yellow orange goo coming out of some places?

Good tips on the skin tones, will have a mess with it. Staying away from greens because of the amount of green on the amour.
Two & half minis in and 10 ball got all excited and made the base to hold all five of the squad.

i will changing the marines base to match the rest.

really cool base mr, this will become a badass squad for sure. i just love a cool squad. was thinking of starting my own project soon, but now i feel a lack of motivation by the rumours about GD going down the bin :/

Well GW have announced GD in the US so I can not see why UK GD wont be on seeing GW are based in the UK. The rumors pop up now and again, is there any official backing to the rumor?

haha well, no, not really the only thing with substance so far is that GE GD will not be in cologne, as the place where it usually is is not booked. think the problem is that nothing has been announced yet dates etc. would be surprised if there is no uk gd though. ah well. i dont have to think about this for a while as i probably have another month+ in front of me painting a contemptor...

Ah well if there isnt any GD UK then you could always abandon the spoty teenagers and join the adults ( re fat forty year old geeks) at Euro Militaire as its nearly always on at the same time.

Well dropping GD would fit in with the gw buisness model.

But lovely retro marines and an awesome base for them. Minis back then had soooo much character.
