Great piece, on a wonderful base. I really like the scrolling details in the white cloth and the quiver. always a pleasure to check out your thread ten ball, or 10 ball, or whatever.

good paintjob on the Ar-Fienel, although im not a fan of the sculpt. ok i realize she is thin, but that arrow is thick as half her arm. ballista arrows

Thanks Skel, I know what you mean about the scale problems but the damn thing is so tiny you can forgive little things like the arrow. For the string on her bow I had to use a hair!

Ar-Fienel is gorgeously well done! Your kids are masters in the making, especially with you being able to show them stuff

It seems the painting talent runs on the family. Love the pattern of quiver most of all and the smoothness you achieved in such a tiny thing.

Bit more done on the ogre, mainly on the left arm - I put hairs in his ears (seeing its a comedy mini) but my wife thinks it looks like he has stuffed grass into his ears because of all the shouting!
Either way I thinks its adds to the character.

i think you have to tone down the grey in the face a bit, it looks a bit odd... also the knuckles.. might be the pics enhancing it though.

Im not sure where the blue/grey on the face/knuckles came from, I just thought about breaking up the pinks and reds etc. maybe its just a bit of warpaint or eye shadow lol

Great painting as usual mate, and your daughters are very talented sure kicks the ass of my awful painting skills as a kid. Feel bad about not being able to come up to GD to hang out and meet peeps and do some photography of the Demon entries. Wallet would scream at me though if I gave it a second thought!!!
