I have painted quite a lot of Ogres, Lots of training about skin tones. But what you have done here is top notch! Love the little guy, so well defined and contrasted!

looking great!! I love that little guy.

Love the color on the gnoblar. I am going to attempt to steal that when i get back to my ogre mini diorama. Is he from the gnoblar box set? When i looked at the plastic gnoblars in the box set i bought, i was dissapointed in the mediocre quality of the sculpts...big reason i have been dragging my feet on completing the diorama.

I love the hockey puck type bases for some reason... it's possible to be really creative with them too with things sticking out the side and all sorts. I like your bricks.

beautiful brickwork, might actually use this as a refrence for the bricks on the base i'm currently working on. your dog is absolutely adorable too.

OMG that dog is so life like, and the forced perspective is, oh- never mind. I like your bricks and the minimalist use of the space on the display puck. really focuses attention.

Thanks all, in an effort to get my painting back on line Im doing a stage by stage that I will type out as an article for beginners.

Progress so far, just hope I can follow all my scribbled notes regarding all the colours.

The base on the pictures has been blacked out, its not the one im using and is very distracting from the mini.
