Megazord recently did a little tute where he shows how shading with green can be very effective.

Did Watson have a lazy eye or something? Sup with the dead eye?

Its supposed to be a squint I suppose. Looks better on the box art, done by a much much better painter than me.

Nonesense! You've got skills to pay the bills! Just think the eye needs centered a bit more to avoid the dead eye look

Edit: Disregard. Your lower eyelids, to me, looked like the eye itself. Think they need a bit more midtone in them tho to avoid thinking they are part of the white of the eye. Make sense?

I agree with BoK that would lift the fuigure a lot to bright in that area atleast in the photos.

Yes spot on. Checked on a close up and the pale skin colour on the bottom eyelid needs more pink. :good:

I must say brother that you chose well with this pair of busts. Contrary to Skel's somewhat sarcastic opinion, I find the paint job lively and engaging. And yes, very British, which is a good thing. You captured the dapper appearance of them both. I reiterate here that you will medal at Euromilitaire with this pair. Good work! I tend to favor your busts though. That naval bust you did was a very good showcase of your skills, perhaps you best from a purely technical aspect (you have creatively done better). Anyway, that's just my extremely valuable opinion.

Been working on the suggested. Pleased with the green glazes, they give a good shade that's not purple. Much happier with the eyes now, tweaked the pupils and bottom eyelids.

Yellowed the newspaper a bit as wargames suggested. Think thats just about finished, im pleased with the result.
