Fantastic ten! Intrigued about the base....
What about an ace/queen of spades/hearts poker card for the base? it will look a little bit like Alice in wonderland.... xD
mmmm other ideas not so original that just came to mind are a lettuce leaf and also a dusty road with some vegetation with a "finish" sign on it...

Didnt like the reins that were supplied with the mini so after a consultation with a crock wearing, golden medal winning, astro-quantum-plumber came up with these out of green stuff.
Hare still wip, need more furs added.

The reigns work really well! They pull the snail & hare together into a cohesive unit and add a new level to the narative of the piece. I love how nuts this mini is but the reigns make some sense within the madness! This is well on track to be your best mini yet!

Love the new style of reins on the snail but I hate to be the fly in the ointment. That rein on right hand-side is the wrong way round, the straight edge seems like it should be on the top and not the bottom of the rein.

and they are the most atrociously rendered green color imaginable! Lol

I got that the moment I saw the reigns that he's pulling across his body,giving a maniacal vibe.honestly not only is it your best work yet,but this is what Ide say would do very well for you at hussar,Monte sorvino,crystal brush etcetc.

Had an idea of black n white checks but after several hours painting it didn't look right. Had a rethink and went with this, imo it fits well with the whimsical fantasy theme.
