It looks very nice, just seems a little uncontrast. Perhaps it is caused by the appearance of the photo. It is a bit fuzzy, as if the camera focused on the vice and the figure is slightly blurred. Or is it just an illusion???

This guy is pretty damn incredible. Watching you paint is always inspiring and this guy is no exception. The inside of the shield work blends perfectly with the guy carrying it, and at first I didnt know about the color of the face on the shield but after looking over it a couple of times I think it works rather well.

cheers both. Digga I wanted the shield face to look like it was alive, like a spirit coming through the shield rather than a 'painted' shield.

Wasnt happy with the gold, too brown / white bling highlights.

upped the colour and carmed the highlights.

Sorry to hear about your familys loss gutting.

Great test of something new, the nmm is slightly Rudd-est really digging it.

It's ok mate I think you've miss read the post. It was a terrible mess at the hospital, they told us he had died but he hadn't. Wrong person.

Very nice - he's building up slowly and steadily. I'm not sure about the red and the purple-pink together. But I'll leave that to more experienced eyes than my own to judge.

Your WIP is always a treat ten ball. :)

I like the analogous color use with the Reds pinks purples. And btw all these colors are wonderful with contrast to the viewer and the shield inside I love.
