Started on the steel plates. Persifal pointed out the blues in the steel might clash with the blue water, with this in mind Ive kept the blue glazes light.
Im pleased.
looking fantastic mate. it is really cool to see the progress shots together like that. it really gives you a feel of how the mini comes together.
on a side note, where did you get the microbeads from? i've been trying to acquire some for a project but am having no luck so far.
Yeah, love the water. I've never really liked the clear resin water look, it works great for some but the idea of doing it and maybe screwing up the underpainted section sets my teeth on edge. Thanks for proving you can do really striking water effects without encasing an inch of your model in lucite.
Miss MNB - the glass micro beads were acquired from AndyG's free miniature supplies international plc. inc. & sons Ltd.
He got them from China, best ask him I reckon
More WIP and the end is in sight, with approx 14 days to salute
This is really fantastic. The mask does help pull the whole thing together, and I love the side by sides to see your progress.
I think you should do well with him at Salute.
Skin is rocking, I love the red. The NNM looks well done but for me id rather a darker tone to contrast with the skin and red. Just personal preference though. Great base also
