Best of luck with the career change. I took on a completely different role in November with my current employer. Not as drastic a change as yours, but definately still feels wierd after doing the same type of work for 25 years. So I am rooting for you. It should help your creative juices for painting as well.

I'm actually a man!
Change as good as a holiday they say.

Scary though doing a big job change. Hope it was your choice and not redundancy etc.

Best if luck with it though. Hope the illness passes.

Booked my hotel and flight for demon so hope to see you there.

started new job and being ill at the same time it's knocked me for six so no painting for the last weeks :(
should be updating soon.

After 25 years in same job I was in a real 'bubble' so this new career change (from graphic artist to fire alarm fitter) is a bit of a shock both physically and menally. im shocked with myself with my lack of confidence so it's turning into a real challenge but I'm still happy with the decision.

A lack of confidence comes with any new job, especially when it is drastically different from something you have grown comfortable doing for 25 years.

I am convinced that many people may be dreadfully unhappy with their present employment, but humans being creatures of habit as we are, they are simply too uncomfortable to make a change. If I am honest with myself I probably should have left the Army in 2011 rather than 2015. I kept going for fear of changing, so I risked my life with another combat tour rather than be confronted with a career change. Funny, really, if you think about it...

Oh wow, that witch on the stairs is sick dude. Her hand on the rail coming down the stairs just sets the entire scene. Fantastic work.

You've added a ton of interest to the scene for Arwen. I love how the rocks butt straight onto the plinth. Great integration of the gaming base. I do feel like a more delicate railing would suit the figure a bit better, but that may be somewhat out of your control. Great job!

The witch gliding down that staircase is a cracker. Love the rich colour scheme and attentions to detail, like the fishnets
