More WIP. As you can see im going for extreme colours to really contrast againts the dull browns of the turtle.

The pink works well against the blue, and ties in well with the pink and purple tones you have in the flesh mate

I like the fact that you based/primed in brown so you can already get a feel for how the colors work with browns.

Thanks all, ive been working hard adding texture to the areas. Very time consuming with stippling then glazing back, then stippling.....

One thing I like about these WIP threads is to see how painting styles change as someone develops their skill. Yours is no exception. It was great a few years back but is something else these days. The wings are fantastic.
