But with the new year and a new mini im painting for Euro is bringinh me back to life

Was just about thinking the same. Browsing through the threads, having some tea and now my jaw nearly got broken when it hit the desk. The bird is just perfect! Even a real bird stuck on a drill wouldn't look that good. Absolutely stunning.

Reminds me, haven't you painted "Squarg the Frog Rider" from Blacksmith Miniatures as well some while ago ? That frog looked super real as well.
