The orcs turned out wonderfully, beyond top notch. And i don't have words to describe how that bust is coming along, beyond inspiring. and thanks for showing the under layers and how you're working it up, very good information that I'll have to work into my own. incredibly inspiring work!

Love that bruised look you are giving to the skin! This is going to be amazing when it is complete, not that it isn't already

Looking awesome! That grey is indeed a good addition to skin tones, desaturates the "full on" pigmentation without just lightening it to brighter more vibrant shade =P Keep it up, pip pip!

I remember those old miniatures... I’ve never seen one so well painted ! And very well done for the demon, he looks very expressive, like we're going to have bad time !

You’re blowing my mind with that demon. There is so much depth to the fleshtones you’re creating. This is already an incredible piece of painting.
And I’m glad you’re still knocking out the Hero Quest minis in your spare time!

I really like the paint you’ve put down on the demon bust. It looks a lot like bruised, decaying and partially dessicated human flesh.

Thanks all :)
Had a quite Christmas and did alot of reading and painting. Had two lovely minis off Mike and Andy which will be a joy to paint, thankyou gentleman:good:

Been making good progress with the demon bust and carried on with my heroquest painting which I'm finding a massive stress relief exercise. Painted these three over the xmas break, the green one I painted last year. I like to make tiny little converstions but still keep them recognisable as heroquest miniatures.

More on the bust, all areas still wip. I've been glazing in the skin to smooth out the transitions. It's been a challenge to blend from different colours and still keen contrast and blends. Had a few people ask about how I've painted the skin so will do a small write up on it and send it over to Saintoads Toadchapel site.

Happy New Year 10, loving the stress-less old skool chaos warriors. The skin tones on the just are another level, brilliant.

That is some really great work on the bust! I particularly like the upper chest how it is almost 3d like you are looking at the muscle under torn skin
