The green stuff work, to me, is outstanding! How do they do that? Is it exacto work or do you need sculpting tools?
I guess this is a basic 'Working with Green Stuff' thread.

That is incredible - I shall be attempting my own [initially horrible] mods to a necron lord upon my return from the 'big kitty litter box'!

just remember, you can get some great results with that technique but it's easy to go too far and rely on it (see 90% of sciobors stuff as an example of 'too far'

There are already Destroyer Lords ...I was thinking 'Monolith Lord'

...now when you say 'too far'...

What are some of the other techniques available? Are there threads here about them?

...now when you say 'too far'... While there are critics of Scibors methodology of producing press moulded patterns and sections it is a good way of producing high definition work. However the saying of Quantity over Quality can be applied to some pieces which have a lot of intricate patterns and yet are not really appaeling to a painter because of it.

The techniques of press moulding and add on sculpting have been covered in a number of threads in the Painting and Conversions section. a search should give you a few to pick your way through to get either information or raise further questions, either way we're here to have our mushy brains picked.
