This is a plastic Games Workshop High Elf Spearman mini from the old Warhammer series.
I tried to paint it in a differrent scheme from anyone else, and I thing I made it.
#3464 was the original mini.

The picture is taken using an Olympus c-60 Zoom camera.

I will be back soon with a High Elf Repeater Bolt Thrower again from the old series.

Thank you for all your comments and votes.

Nice job. You might check out my gallery for a different take on these guys.

I do wonder why people keep insisting these guys are \"very old.\" I had been a mini collector and painter, quit the hobby for a decade, then started up again before these guys were even a gleam in the sculptor\'s eye.
I\'ve got some very old minis, and I bet a few of the coffin dodgers are hanging onto even older ones.

Have to agree with Vince on the Very old comment.

There is no such thing as a Very Old plastic mini to me. When I started painting the only platic figures you got were in board games, and usually consisted of pawns.

Maybe old, maybe dated, but not very old. I guess this makes some of my collection Anchient, maybe even Archaic. Some day I will either post a paint markered Rafm fig, or paint one of the 100s or soo I still have in their baggies. Yes before blister packs, minis came in little baggies with a piece of cardboard with the company name typed on it stapling it shut.

Thanks for taking the time to view and reply. As for \"very old\"... it has more to do with the fact that when I bought it I was like 17 years old. To tell you the truth, I feel it\'s very old, I have hard time remembering me board gaming even though it\'s been only 10 years since. Has to do with me being in a whole different situation and way of life since then.

I agree otherwise with you people that it\'s really not old, as I have also seen way older miniatures and can understand your comments.

If you are interested, there is one of my works in progress upped here, so you can give your comment and help me shape it :)

Very true. I recently discovered a Napoleonic Artillery piece made by Hinchcliffe, bought when I was around 14.
That makes it around 36 (+/-) years old.
