I've heard about people like your father, but they always were some sort of a legend, something you are always aspire to achieve ... Oh well. These are stunning images. If I may ask, the third image - the tree on the rock, is there any post- processing involved or he managed to actually capture the clouds. Again, if I may, is it possible I saw some of these images before, specifically the bird and the old farm?

I posted the bird and farm images on a photography thread on the forums here. They're knocking about elsewhere on the web too.
The tree on rock images will certainly have some processing involved, but I'd imagine the sky is probably pretty close to how it looked at the time - just burnt in a bit. They've been desaturated and tinted by the look of it. He used to do it the traditional way - all in the darkroom and with dyes and a brush - I'll have to get some examples of monochrome prints he produced from really shite negatives!
Photoshop and DSLRs have been a quite liberating experience for him over the past 4-5 years I think, but he still likes to mess about with bromoils and really old school 'arty' methods.
You're right about him being a legend - to me anyway. He's always been a massive source of inspiration as well as being hugely supportive of anything creative I've ever done - including my miniature painting!
He's responsible for both my sister and I being involved in creative arts/professions. So I blame him for not being rich nowadays!
