At last he\'s finished. Unfortunately was on a time limit so didn\'t have the time to do the freehands I had planned, due to an accident with his leg.

Anyway I am happy with him, he went away as present for a close friend, avid gamer.

Very nice look, I love the front but the back not so much... Your NMM looks simply amazing and brings it up alot for me. The pose of the mini is a bit unfortunate, and the back seems too glossy.

Solid 8 for me though

yup, voted, great painting on this one, and as dark said great NMM, and the jewel. He does look like he is falling over though, I\'m guessing, the leg accident?

same comments as everyone else, pretty much. The painting looks solid, but the shine makes it hard to tell actual painted highlights from specular reflection.

The more I look though, the more I imagine a drunk narrative from the posture... (slur)\"Hey, you over there. You wanna buy a scroll?\"

Thank you everyone for your comments (and waiting for more). Just to help you see what\'s going on, Although the model\'s been dullcoted, and I am putting some baking paper in front of light for diffusion, I keep getting glossy effect on the back and esp. the cloak (on the photo). The front is exactly as seen on the photo.

I like your base but I think you need way thinner paints which will allow the mini to look tidier. As I recall though, you are pretty young and have all the time to improve lots

All I can do is reinterate what the others have said. The cloak lets the mini down and it is poorly postioned (looks like hes going to fall over). The rest of the painting is great tho. Nice work, done the vote thing.
