MORE PICTURES!

The army looks fantastic but I would love to have more individual and detailed shots. Maybe some additional angles.

Nice, nice.

The Hive Tyrant perched on the statue is positively epic.

I can\'t help but think it could use more ripper swarms though..... not because work better in-game, but because they would look cool lined up all the way across the front of the picture. :D

That\'s a terrifying army!

I love the colour scheme and unified effect you achieved by painting them up in one big batch. Most impressive.

Very nice, especially if done with the dipping technique (that I have yet to try, but I will soon).
I especially like the flyrant... where di you get the idea from? ;)
BTW, I did the same exact thing more than 5 months ago :D have a look (if you haven\'t done it already :D ) here

cheers

I\'d much rather see someone take the time to paint an army using \'da dip\' than bare metal/resin. And it always seems to be the ones with the unpainted armies (or no armies at all) who comment the loudest about dipped figs.

Good job!

thanks guys - i\'ll be playing with it for the first time next week so we\'ll see how it goes!

If my Flyrant dies in the first few turns i\'ll be pissed....

A great thing to give the Hive Tyrant is Warp Field, expensive at 35pts. But gives a 2+ sv and a 5 (or 6 cant remember) inv save, great when you fly at huge tactical squads and everything the fire just glances off lol

EDIT* looking at your army i would take the 4 ripper swarms off and add warp field.

thanks darkarts!

I really enjoyed doing these guys, for 2 weeks work (a week either side of xmas) it was finished unbelievably fast - this is definatly not a cost effective way to enjoy the hobby!!

hope to get them into a battle soon, will try to remember to post the result.

I am very glad to be of inspiration, and I am happy you did a marvelous job on your splendid army.
Keep it up!

cheers

P.S. No need to \"defend\" yourself, and I am sorry if my last message sounded a bit harsh... I hope the emoticon showed I was being ironical and sarcastic.
Really great job... congrats!

What is dipping? If it\'s going to help me learn to paint like that, I\'d really like to know!
