Well - for the very first painted miniature ever, it is a VERY good result. Puts mine to shame Oo

first thing, everything is neat which is the best start any one can make. :)

now it\'s time to start working on highlights and shading.
the first miniature mentor dvd is well worth the money as it shows you how to achieve results using thinned paint.
combine what you can see in the dvd with online written tutorials and you will be off to a great start.

use the WIP section to get feedback a you go along.

all the best.

For a first mini I\'d say it\'s exceptionally good.
I\'m surprised you collected minis for so long without painting them.

That\'s a helluva great start; I hope you continue to improve your skills. I especially like your choice and placement of colors, and the bone color on the scythes is well done.

My main suggestion for improvement would be to highlight the colors a bit more, to provide more contrast between each element of the figure. I would also suggest looking at some of the photography tutorials on this site. Your pics are a little dark, and improving this can only make your stuff look better.

Thats a great start you made there! You\'re talented.
I think the colours work fine with eachother and most people (me included) mess up with too many colours on their first minis.
Your mini just needs some highlights to go up to be real good one. Especially the mouth-tongue needs some highlights.

Keep your painting on and you sure will rock in a short time.
