Greets all. Am new to the service and thought I would jump right in. I\'ve put up a pic of a sculpted figure of mine and would like to see what some people outside the sculpting community think.

Thanks

I don\'t know anything about sculpting, but i\'d like to say two things:

- the head looks great: the hat, the face, the beard, everything has a lot of character
- I know it\'s a dwarf, but the proportions of the body seem a bit wrong... also his left hand looks a bit unclear...

This one definately shows a lot of talent, but I agree with corvus, it seems to have the body type of a midget, not a dwarf, the proportions seem a bit off.

Welcome to CMON! I hope to see a lot more of your work

Nice to see a dwarf who isn\'t covered in plate armor or wielding an unwieldly axe. But his head does seem a bit large for his body.

reminicent of some of the early 80\'s or late 70\'s dwarves. (Citidel, Ral Partha, etc.)

i like him even if i agree there\'s something strange with his hand!

but i love the concept and the idea of this \"victorian\" dwarf, i can imagine him sitting in a club, smoking a cygar and drinking cognac :D

Thanks for the feedback all. Yes, I have some of those 80\'s dwarves and used a few for scaling actually. The left hand thing... I think it is obscured in the pic by lace and shirt cuff.

The head vs body size thing has been the usual comment I get on this figure and can accept that. I made a figure with a look that I like but I need to hear what other mini fans like to see so that sits fine by me.

I\'ve lurked CMON not for some time and am glad to be finally participating. Hope to get more stuff up soon.
