Granddad!
...on the mini

..oh, ..ahh, ...hmm, ...& your lovely self of course :)

(can someone throw me a rope? ....so I can get out of this hole I just dug myself into)

Thanks for adding me!

Gosh, at this rate I may have to have someone start a third mini because we may get more people than a mini has a fair number of parts. I don\'t want a mini to be broken down in so many parts that each person only gets to do a dab.

Anyone else interested just let me know!:D
Duende,

Thanks for adding me to the list. I look forward to participating, this could be great fun!

Cheers,
Grumb

heh...

I have decided I am a pretty good \'arms length\' painter...

As long as you keep every thing at \'arms lenth\' it looks pretty good....lollol

It is primered, although very lightly.

I know I had some problems when I laid down my first base colors of paint. I was trying to use very thin layers, and there seemed to be quite a bit of surface tension....

I love it!

She\'s looking mighty beautiful~:flip::bouncy: Nice addition and well-done, supervike! I see you left her on the little, film canister. They come in very handy and you never have to touch the figure. To take her off at the final stages, simply slide the thin blade of your X-acto knife underneath.....She\'ll pop right off!

Gosh, this is like watching a very, suspensful cliff-hanger.....Can\'t wait to see how it ends!

So, what IS to happen to the finished product?

P.S. Very nice photo as well!

I don\'t know if it has been established on what is to happen once she is \'finished\'.

About the photo canister...That is a very clever trick. I have always just used the plastic lids from a soda bottle, but the photo canister has a much better sized \'hold\'. Many times, my poor little hand will cramp from holding on the soda lid, so I will screw the soda bottle back on, which makes it a little more cumbersome.

The photo did turn out surprisingly well. Much better than the photos on my \'submissions\'. I guess the key is to just quickly do it, and not get so fiddly with all the buttons!! I am still trying to understand all the features of that camera, and to be honest, much of it goes straight over my head....

This little experiment has been loads of fun. Kudos for the person who thought of it....;)

White balance is the most important setting (after macro). With those you should be able to get decent pics.

I bet I get left to do the chainmail on this :( actually it wouldn\'t be too bad, but I might do it purple :D

As for this one, I plan on posting it here with everyone\'s name and what they did and keeping it as a momento of eveyone I met thru this whole idea. I think it\'s sentimental value will be worth more to me than any money I can make off of it.

Awww, Group hug!

Ok, I\'ll do the group hug thing, but if you start singing CoomBaya or whatever it is then I\'m leaving :mad:lol:D

Cheers,
