2 fer 1 purple people

Hi all! I\'m still quite new here but have already noticed the xtra attention one gets from posting new pics here! So I\'m nervously joining the ranks of pimps - I mean submitters - with not one but two new pics:

I have read and followed much of the advice given here (should earn me a brownie point, right? ), namely:

1) made and used a gradient background, a diffuser and daylight bulbs for the photos

2) used 2 coats of Testor\'s Dullcote to finish \'em

3) started to feather a little for blending

Future submissions will feature more of the kind advice I have gotten here (special thanks to Trevor and Ritual!), but I had already mostly finished these b4 I started reading the CMON forums.

The purple is very striking ,in a good way.

Good paint job. I like and recommend the dull tone\'s you used for the background gradient. Often the blue is so intense and pretty that it distracts from the mini. The duller tone\'s accentuate the colors in the mini.

Commented on both nice work gave you an 8 on the group and 7 on the general comment explains. Like you said did your home work and it shows but one thing you forgot about is when you post a forum like this for your mini everone that comments through it get a vote and comment on some of there stuff :flip: sorry for the cheesy line but hay got a few under 50 so all help apperciated.:bouncy:

Nice work there! Glad to see some of our advice put into practice with good results (can\'t remember if I gave you any advice, but I\'ll gladly take credit for it anyway... lol). I voted and both and gave you a comment on the champion.
