If you check out the \'top artists\' link on the home page you can see everyone\'s rank and their average mini rating. Artists numbers 209-215 have an average rating of 8.70 (208 has 8.71).

8.7 + 8.7 + 8.6 + 8.5 + 9.0 = 43.5

43.5 divided by 5 is an average of 8.70, which would actually put you at 216, because I think you would have less votes than the already established 8.70\'ers.

That\'s really sad when I am doing math to figure out how good someone is, I mean come on, it\'s art! Oh well, it\'s fun to have a rank and if you\'re competive like me, it helps you to push yourself.

Ah I get it now. I dont think it is very fair someone is placed higher than you because they have more votes on a mini, an average is an average.

I don\'t think it is completely to do with vote count. I know the top 10 in last 7, give priority to lower vote counts, but in the overall ranking I haven\'t see that.

For example, I\'m at 9.51 average with Cheeba and Freeman, I have ~2200 votes, they each have ~1200 votes, one is above and one is below me. So it must be something else! ??? Maybe actually based on average past the 2 decimal places we can see?
