I really like all three of these fellows. Good controlled usage of colors and color composition. The shading on the robes could use a bit of smoothing out.

Only 1 critism.....I would like to see one of the new Farseers /Warlocks painted by you.
The old minis are superb though :eek:.

Thanks vincenti, I do have one of the new ones, I have him on the backburner for the moment, but maybe I will break him out sooner than I had planned :beer:

Yep, if you have it.

Sharpen as the very last step, after resizing and just before you save the JPEG or PNG.

Good general settings for Unsharp Mask for a 72ppi image are:
Amount - 200-250%
Radius - 0.3-0.5
Threshold - 3-5

This would just be to give an image a nice crisp look.

Higher settings can help compensate just enough for an image that\'s a touch out of focus, although there\'s a limit to what you can do of course. Later versions of Photoshop have a new filter to help with that too.

Much appreciated Einion, I have a copy of CS2, but I haven\'t really gotten myself familiar with everything as I probably should. I\'ll give that a shot with my next photos. :)

Vincenti, I always enjoy Razza\'s stuff, sometimes I think he had his eyes replaced with microscopes.. ;) Your Eldar farseer is a wonderful inspiring conversion too, the pose is very dynamic and it has rich colors!! :beer:

@elly cracking stuff on all three accounts! not mad on the base (the gravelly texture seems a little out of place) but the black nmm is super cool

Well, it\'s all gravely because I have a larger base they all \"fit\" into that I haven\'t even come close to finishing... lol It\'s made but I have to paint it, and sometimes I curse myself for picking that particular pattern of styrene for the bases... it gets quite tedious shading all those little squares!!! :D
