First time I\'ve seen it too. To be honest I think that this looks really awful.
I can\'t quite put my finger on what it is but... Uurgh. I know all about the special look and techniques to try and emulate the comic and all that malarkey, but it was the same for me with Dawn of the Dead which this fella made before. There is just something about the way his films look that doesn\'t work for me.
Or perhaps it is just that a trailer with lots of separate shots of people screaming in slow motion is never a great sign!
Actually no, I think more than anything it is that Zack Snyder can\'t make films that look like films, they look like computer games, which I wouldn\'t worry about quite so much... but this dude is supposedly now the Watchmen director. Surely one of the most complex and important comics ever needs someone like Scorsese at the helm, not some MTV, bubble gum pop, easily digestible, action every second kinda hack like this working on it.
