I think for the mystery chapters you should just paint them entirely the off white ceramite color with shading and highlighting.
I vote clean for the others
Also, consider what the order you are placing them in. Will you be placing them by legion number? Or in a different way possibly by color to increase movement in the piece?

I think the worn statue look is a GREAT IDEA!

Okay, I\'m going to arrange them by number, so Dark Angels first ....all the way to... Alpha Legion last.
I\'ve gotten the dark under coated figs primed black, and started a bit on the \"Iron Legion\". I wish I was decent at NMM but I will do my best, if any of you remember my first Necron attempt, this should be at LEAST as good as that.:yes:
I think I can try and squeeze a bit of painting in each week hopefully a couple hours a day on my days off.
I\'ll post actual plans for the display when I get them done up, and I\'ll include updates as that progresses as well.
Class has gotten REALLY hectic, with both classes this session being oriented with Design and Web Development.
I\'m sorry, but maintaining my 4.0 is ever-so-slightly more important to me than completing a project that\'s been in my head for half my lifetime.

I am doing these original 20 in there original pre-heresy schemes, but I\'d like to be able to switch them out to the post-heresy versions, and I am still interested in recreating the poster, so if anyone wants to donate cookie cutter marines, or even Black Reach troops, I\'m willing to pay shipping!

LOl I did & it tasted like crap. I like the Idea of the 2 missing chapters being gray almost like snow on the tv. Im really digging the case to.. if i could get a copy of the template that would be awesome.. my oldest daughter is into making cakes & that would make an cool cake.

I have the materials, but I have run out of time.
Between school full-time, and 2 full-time jobs....I have none for minis.
I actually had to clean off my mini desk to add a computer for work...so near future...file this one back to the pipe dream pile
