I meant magnifying attachment. I have never seen anyone who actually used one. It makes the brush and everything uner it big. So, there doesn\'t seem to be a need for it.

Does anyone really use a magnifying glass to paint miniatures?
Yah, you can get magnifying attachments for glasses as well as headsets (e.g. Optivisor) I bought one of my own recently as the ol\' eyes are going for real closeup detail work... it\'s all downhill from your 30s :D

Or did you mean an actual magnifying glass with a handle? :)

I don\'t use one of those, but I do wear magnifying reading glasses when I paint. The eyes get old, the vision gets weird - now I can only see a little spot about an inch from my nose clearly without some kind of corrective lenses. lol

As for the movie - you couldn\'t pay me enough to see it.

Anyway I don\'t like this kind of movie. It\'s like a teen comedy with grown-ups (At least I think so, I don\'t know the movie and I am not going to watch it).

I hear that! Movies suck more and more these days.

i wouldn\'t say the movies suck these days, i\'d say the movie going experience sucks these days. You\'ve got some guy crinkling his candy wrapper 3 inches away from the back of your head, a baby crying and somebody\'s cell phone going off. Plus it costs 10 bucks to see it in those horrid conditions, when in 3 months you can BUY the movie outright for 15 dollars. That\'s my rant on the movie industry anyway, i could be way off base, that\'s how i see it.

His name was Oscar. Doesn\'t everyone know that?

Oscar Goldman, wasn\'t it? I could cheat and confirm it on imdb.com, but I\'m too lazy.

I thought I already said that.

As far as The earlier question about the six million dollar man - The guys full name was Oscar Goldman, and the actor that portrayed him (Richard Anderson) was the first actor in Television history to ever play the same character on two currently running TV programs at the same time; The six million dollar man and The Bionic Woman.

So do I win the Uber-nerd award or what?
Edit: I think I only had sex because I hid my mini-addiction from my girlfriends; my wife didn\'t find out until TWO years after we were married. I was going through some boxes I got out of my mother\'s attic and I was like \"OH LOOK! my old D&D books!\" She looked mortified; she had married a closet nerd! lol

Oh and the other day I saw my brother watching some TV thingy were a guy apparantly had a big ultra marine army. Though it was neat seeing some minis on TV.

Oh and I really don\'t need movies persuading people that minis is a \'nerd\' thing. I already have a harde enougth time as it is :p
