OK we went to see this Last Night.
It's enjoyable and unusually for Hollywood more 'accurate' to the ending of the real story.
Visually it's got some seriously stunning scenic's, great Samurai action, not bad magic which doesn't ruin or detract from the story.
While you either like or dislike Keannu Reeves he works well in this role as being rather stoic character.

But I have to admit I have a new addition to the list of beautiful women, Ko Shibasaki.

Worthwhile seeing if you haven't already.
Oh and that's a No Brainer for my Blu-Ray collection.

Excellent, need an excuse to get my old man out of his house and into the world for a bit.

Glad to hear the ending is true to story, I think they show where that happened without any actors visible in the clip, in one trailer i saw on TV. Bill&Ted do 47Ronin. How was Keanu? doesn't seem like samurai material

Ian says it has bombed at the cinema...
Hi Jo, probably will not do well, as its out against over hyped Will Ferrell crap and audiences are fickle.
But 13th Warrior also didn't do well at the cinema and look how popular that has become.

Well he's better than in Harry's Crime, but not as 'light' as he used to be.
I think the loss if his child and girlfriend in short proximity a few years ago has 'darkened' his personality.
Also he's 50 this year and still looks as if he's in his 30's.
