Bigger pics please. At this size they look good but if you want some real feedback we need a close up.

I\'m going to concentrate on the face here as this is where I see the greatest area for comments.
To me you seem to have broken the face into three sections White (Forehead) Blue (Eyes) Red (Cheeks & Jaw).
In my opinion you need to increase the shadow tonality of the forehead around the hairline and at the temples and very slightly at the area above the eyebrow ridge.
The eyes you need to loose the eyeshadow look and bring the colour of the forehead down into the folds of the eyelids.
For the cheeks and jawline you need to bring the basecolour of the forehead down over all that red as, to be honest, it looks as if he\'s wearing rouge.

With 54mm figures you must take into account that with the increase in scale size comes a decrease in the amount of contrast needed to make the figure look \"right\". Therefore smoother blending and/or thinner layers are the order of the day.

I glazed down the nose and cheeks and lower lip with red. Too much? The shadow colors are entirely red. That might be why some parts look more red. The forehead looks more white because it has less shadow colors and therefore less red.

Have to agree with DR at the moment...

He looks like that drunk dude off the Fast show...

Fzzzrzrrzrzrzzz SNAKE! fzzrzfzzrzfzrfzzz, Bit off nearly half the poor chap\'s arm! fzrzrzfzrzfzrz, timely intervention by the school choir, fzrzfzrzfzrz, now he\'s a darts champion! ... But I must admit... I was very... Very drunk...

I think it is a great sculpting work.. I can barely do half as good as that. the only thing that I will say anything about is the painting. you should try to add more brown to the shadowy areas. that way I think it might be even better then it is now :D

Angus didn\'t sculpt it himself, it is part of an Andrea mini ;)

Jake, I think this is looking great but I agree with the others on their points. It seems to me that you have an excellent blending technique, regardless of the colours - everythng seems very smooth and ambient. The eyes are also very effective. Good stuff so far

Corrections for all posts.
HE looks burned.
I DIDN\'T sculpt him. Joaquin Palacios sculpted for the Andrea Miniatures mini Ithandir.

Don\'t know. I just painted this head cause I found it lying around my work space and I wanted to try something larger.
Thanks,
Jake
