6mm scale sci fi question

I am debating creating a line of sci-fi buildings and I was wondering what other games are 6mm? I think epic 40k is. Is Battletech also 6mm?

Thanks in advance...

There are a few out there. I know that Peter Jones of Blitzkrieg Commander is working on some 6mm sci-fi rules. I believe this set uses miniatures from several manufacturers.

Website is www.blitzkrieg-commander.com

Well the truth be told Battletech isn\'t really any scale because FASA never really set a scale for anything..they only used Weight to determin size.. and for the 9 plus years I sculpted them it was always a pain in the butt to determine size..as I always liked to point oh..just how big is 60 tons?

But BT could be argued it falls somewhere in between 1/250th and 1/285th. Z scale is 1/220 and might be considered slightly too big for BT but it works.

Mechwarrior from Wizkids we at least set a scale of 10mm or about 1/160 which is N Scale.

Ooops, I airheaded....

I thought Battletech was N guage (1:160) which is very common at model rr stores.

That means that the building would be even bigger in scale than the minis if they are in the 1:250 range.

But even the battletech stuff changes as it matured - originally, a mech was around 30 feet tall, later you read where they are 30 meters tall, quite a bit of difference between a 3 story tall machine and a 10 story tall machine.

Yeah, BT scale is horrible - we generally default to 1/285 for vehicles and such, since there is a whole lot of jeeps/humvee trucks and such out there.
