Well I gotta do that work crap to. But I am NOT buying Rock Band: The Beatles as I can\'t really stand the Beatles. I am gonna go play Space Hulk tonight for the first time since the early 90\'s. And I gotta finish Batman: Arkham Asylum with the boy tonight too.

well its my wifes and my sisters birthday today so thats taken most things . though im finding 09/09/09 unlucky as both the england cricket and football internationals are on today and cant watch them (she has loads of birthdays though - but international sport is special - especially against the aussies and the croats - why cant she realise this - i mean i aint painting tonight so i can spend time with her while she watches some crap on tv though hopefully it might be true blood as im digging that a lot right now.

Well, I\'ve got to check these billions of graphics against their original versions, then maybe print out some more manuscripts, then go shopping and then actually do some packing in preparation for moving later this month. So, nothing thrilling.

I think it\'s an international thing actually - in theory, you can dial the emergency services number for your home country while in a foreign one and still get through. So I could dial 999 here and hopefully still get help. I think it\'s more because people don\'t think clearly in an emergancy and reflexively dial the familiar number rather than wasting time trying to figure out what the local one is.

Actually.... they do keep using the \"Letter\" format in Word instead of our much-preferred A4. Then bits get chopped off when I print their manuscripts out, even if I\'ve changed the settings on the printer pop-up. If it\'s a long manuscript and I don\'t realise quickly, that\'s a hell of a waste of paper, not to mention the time I have to spend fiddling with it to get it right!
