A 5 year olds quest

@Chad no gamesday this year, I might be able to make the trip to adepticon next year but with my work its really hard to plan ahead right now.

@JokerOz I know all about that my daughter is the same way. If the show doesn't have a princess or a dog in it she's not interested in watching it.

So the boy got 3rd in the painting contest. He's pretty excited about that and tells everyone about it. Sadly it's created a monster as that is all he wants to do right now. Though its become really easy to get him to behave as he has to be good to paint brawhahaha. This is a pic of what is taking up my painting desk right now for him.

The paint brush is for size comparison. The woody statue is his and the princess is his little sister. My sister got them for their birthdays and they are busy painting them. My daughter REALLY likes red as you can tell lol. My youngest has gone and thrown a fit about learning to paint and my wife has been letting him play with one of her bret horses and water instead of paint. Tonight I put together a little wooden train for him since my wife will need that horse for painting. Man is he excited about having his own little model to paint now lol. Something tells me that when they grow up my house is going to be filled with artwork.

Well at least I don't have to buy new video games/movies all the time for them :sinister: I know i'm an evil parent but its pretty awesome how excited they are about something as simple as a brush and a little paint. My oldest even likes going to art galleries here in vancouver with me just so he can see what other people do.
